This is a go to place, I'm not sure why the low stars. The messier the place the more tasty. Just kidding. I think the food is great. It might be the greasiness that surrounds the place. When you walk in to the restaurant, it's a smoking zone, so it is a fight against the smokers. Then you go in and find a spot, not too bad. The waiters are attentive and will help you with your orders and they come out super quick. Great for late night snacking. The restrooms kinda need some TLC, but other than that, I'm there for the food.

The variety of Chinese stir fry dishes and British-influenced Hong Kong entrees is so vast here - you can get most anything to satisfy your craving! Service is usually quick here but they can get backed up on the weekends. Portions are huge, but the flavors are spot on. This place has been a family favorite for many years.

Needed to grab something at big 5 and decided to come here for a weekday dinner. I haven't been here for years but always been meaning to try it out. Parking lot is giant and it's really nice to have so many other shops to stop by as well. We got seated right away. The waiter was very friendly. They don't hover around but can be waived down easily. The chicken and beef steak was good. The Thai fried rice was good as well. They gave big portion. So although the price is normal, we think it's good deal. It didn't seem busy, but maybe because the restaurant is so big and have people dining outside as well.

Overall, a solid Hong Kong cafe. Been here multiple times, both dine in and take out. What never fails is their sizzling chicken steak. Crispy on top and super juicy chicken meat! Their bolognese is great and so is their black pepper udon. If you're looking for a solid Hong Kong cafe in Alhambra, it's a great option! Sometimes getting them to pay the bill is slow, but ordering is quick!

First time coming here! We were meeting our friends and one of them is a regular who knows the chef... I have to say we were impressed by the Chicken steak and salmon with black pepper sauce. It was quite filling and delicious! BUT, that's not all the Borscht soup was the main highlight of the show! It was impacted with so much flavor. Compliments to the chef. Bravo! There's so much good foodie places around the San Gabriel area so come on in folks! The water is warm here at SUNDAY BISTRO! Rock on Sunday Bistro! & Why not Everyday Bistro!?

Free coffee/tea!! Robot server!!! But also human servers too. Efficient fast service from humans and robot. No check ins from either, but easy to flag down a server for whatever you need...more water, extra napkins. I like they don't rush you. Also friendly on the way out. Thanks Yang for the reward of a free drink when I stopped to do the QR code survey. My mom likes this place. Generous portions, good prices. She ordered the beef wonton soup with mein (noodles)...she says the beef tendon is very good. 5/5 At first, I didn't like the place bec of the smoking at the entrance where there is a large patio dining area. But I'm a convert due to the smile on my moms face...she's a great cook herself so hey if she likes it here ir must be good. Great porridge sets...I like their porridge and side of soy sauce noodles...but I went with an American breakfast, again. Mom had the beef tendon won ton 5/5, she was smiling. 5/5 I ordered the same breakfast I had the last time I was here which was my first time ...bec the chef here does a very fluffy scrambled egg...and I wanted to see if it was consistent ..and it was!! 10/5...and I happen to be nostalgic for canned corned beef, again. (It's perfectly cooked with crispness and moistness) ...consistent!! It comes with a chicken elbow noodle soup...bland but good when doctored at home 4/5...i had plenty of leftovers for a substantial next day breakfast. 5/5 I enjoy this place...its retro vibe...the robot....and the strong free coffee...they bring cream and also condensed milk....the coffee 5/5

This was a phone order. Lady employee was pleasant and helpful to find the order, but one of the dishes ordered was wrong. Its ok. Its a honest mistake. Food was ok. Clay pot dish. Since it was ordered to go, they didn't scrape the rice off the clay pot when transferred into a to-go container. Sometimes, you just want the extra crunch. That's the best part, imo. Spacious restaurant and has patio seating. That's a plus, I find. Price was reasonable. They have plenty of parking located in a strip plaza.

Food continues to live up to being some of the best places to eat in the San Gabriel Valley. Food here is incredibly good with the master chefs from Cafe spot continuing the excellence in food! Just wanted everyone to know their super awesome Hainam chicken rice has come back like old school Cafe Spot days! Don't forget to visit!!!
